Tim Hawkins has more than 20 years experience working in the accounting and investment fields. As President of The Masters Group, his primary role is helping individual investors and their families realize their financial goals. Tim is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a certified presenter for Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
to CPAs on topics of financial planning. Previously he has been a member of an elite advisor group that has studied
IRA laws and regulations extensively. Tim received his BS in Accounting from Iowa State University and his MBA from California State University Northridge.

ron dougherty
director of business retirement plans
Ron Dougherty joined The Masters Group in January 2012. He has over 30 years experience working in business retirement planning. He serves as the primary contact for business owners helping them to create solutions to meet thier specific needs. Ron graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in business. He has his Series 7 and 66 FINRA securities licenses, and his Life and Health insurance license.

kristen crouthamel
director of client relations
Kristen Crouthamel joined The Masters Group in June 2007. She works directly with our clients as the Director of Client Relations. Kristen has an excellent financial background with a BS degree from Upper Iowa University and 12 years experience in the financial services industry. She has her Series 6, 7 and 63 FINRA securities licenses.

Heath Hanson joined The Masters Group in February 2010. He is responsible for conducting research, helping to maintain data integrity, and supporting overall client portfolio management. In addition, Heath works closely with our other team members responding to client inquiries and account servicing needs. Heath is a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University. He has a BS in Finance. He has his Series 7 and 66 FINRA securities licenses, and his Life and Health insurance license.

diana hawkins
director of business development
Diana Hawkins, Director of Business Development, has been working at The Masters
Group since 2002. Her experience in the marketing and business planning
fields in the last 10 years have helped position The Masters Group as a
growing company without the growing pains. In addition, she oversees
the coordination of all client events and client communication materials.
Diana graduated with a B.A. from The University of Iowa in 1990. Prior
to entering the marketing field she worked in TV production in Los Angeles for
eight years.
